well known in the industry for producing some of the best anamorphic lenses on the market. 

The HD5000 5 element lens in both manual and motorised versions are now available. 

The HD5000 has a unique feature not seen on any other lens. A 'Pass through' mode which turns the elements straight to remove the stretch for all HDTV
footage. Using this innovative method results in no loss of resolution as apposed to leaving other lenses in place and scaling with the projector. (A big no no
if you want to utilise the full 1080 panel of the projector)

Another neat feature of this world class lens is the variable aspect ratio adjustment, this means you can tailor the stretch to fit all screen formats, 2.20:1, 
2.35:1, 2.37:1, 2.40:1 etc.

The HD5000 optics are world class and feature CA corrected elements and astigmatism correction making it a complete 5 element design.

10.3.11 Cinemascope is really becoming mainstream. For many reasons people will choose cinemascope format over a traditional HDTV 16:9 format screen. The purpose of the Cinemascope screen is to re create what is done at the Cinemas and to enjoy the film in it's native format. Think of how exciting it was when curtains open up to the wall to display that deluxe widescreen image. You can't do with a TV, you are left watching the 2.35 film in letterboxed format with black bars top and bottom. Gladly, Home Theatre Projection is one step ahead. Because we can manipulate the image in a couple of different ways, we can now enjoy those blockbuster films in their native ultra widescreen format. The Cinemascope screen is 33% wider than the traditional HDTV or 16:9 format. Watching movies in this widescreen format is truly a spectacle. Your images will also stay the same height regardless of what you're viewing.
