The ultimate home cinema demands the best in projection. Enter the EH-LS12000 projector, Epson’s all new 4K Pro-Cinema Laser projector. Featuring revolutionary 3LCD laser projection technology, 4K resolution and HDR10+ support, the LS12000 delivers breath-taking image quality and colour brightness that elevates any screening to a true cinematic experience. Enjoy the big screen experience at home with the EH-LS12000 4K Laser projector.

Theater. Redefined.
Epson® Pro Cinema Projectors have one goal – to faithfully reproduce the source material the way the artist intended. This single thought is what guided our Engineering Teams to develop a next-generation home theater projector. And what they came up with, could possibly be our best Pro Cinema Projector ever.
Introducing the Epson Pro Cinema LS12000 4K PRO-UHD®1 3-Chip 3LCD Laser Projector.
Utilizing an all-new Laser Array Light Source, the Pro Cinema LS12000 is capable of displaying a 4K picture on screen up to an astonishing 2,700 lumens for both color and white brightness2. And, when driven by a proprietary Epson ZX Picture Processor for powerful picture processing, the Pro Cinema LS12000 produces incredible brightness, color accuracy, and image detail to faithfully display all your content the way it was meant to be seen.

Laser Projection at Home
As part of Epson’s manufacturing philosophy aiming to deliver uncompromising brightness, contrast, colour, and the highest image quality, the LS12000 is equipped with a uniquely designed laser optical engine. Additionally, with a highly efficient LD package, a newly developed panel, and the optical component optimisation that only Epson can provide, the LS12000 achieves up to 2,700lm brightness, high contrast, and superb colour reproduction.
The laser engine’s long lifespan of up to 20,000 hours provides virtually worry-free operation. And there’s no waiting for the projector to warm-up or cool down – the projector reaches maximum brightness and turns off almost immediately.

Designed for extraordinary installation flexibility
The wide-range powered lens shift (Vertical ± 96.3 %, horizontal ± 47.1 %) and zoom (x2.1) that only a high-end home model provides means the EH-LS12000B can be installed in living rooms as well as dedicated home cinemas. Users can operate the lens shift functions using the remote control, the projector control panel, or control commands. In addition to the same quietness (25dB/Light output 75%) as previous models, a reduction in high-frequency noise levels creates less distraction for a more immersive experience.

Bring images to life
Super resolution defines and sharpens blurred images for standard and 4K content bringing incredible detail for true to life images.

Experience stunning 4K
Make your home centre stage for all the action with advanced pixel-shifting technology that works in parallel with three individual high-definition LCD chips to produce an exceptionally sharp 4K (8.3million pixels) picture without sacrificing picture brightness.
Optimum performance with up to 2,500,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 4K-enhancement technology, 3LCD technology, 4K frame interpolation, 4K super-resolution and HDR10+ support.
Powered by the Epson ZX Picture Processor, Scene Adaptive Gamma allows the user to automatically adjust the picture quality based upon the scene information itself. This provides a simple way to get impressive colour and contrast, regardless of the content being displayed.

The evolution of HDR tonal representation
HDR is a key technology emphasized by filmmakers that helps convey the visual intent of a film more faithfully. Evolution in HDR technology means that now even subtle shadow tones can be displayed in fine detail.

Fast-moving 4K video that’s clear and smooth
As well as current frame interpolation technology, blurring reduction is now improved. Even watching fast-moving sports or when gaming, image contours stay clear, and motion is smooth to bring a fuller sense of realism and dynamism than ever to 4K video.

Will the Epson EH-LS12000 fit your room?
Work out the distance from the lens to the screen for a Majestic screen size, or the screen that fits the distance you have, from Epson’s published throw ratio of 1.35 to 2.84 (2.1× zoom).
The calculator needs JavaScript. Throw ratio 1.35 to 2.84: multiply the picture width by these numbers for the nearest and farthest lens positions.
How to use the projection calculator
- Drag the sliders (or type the numbers): the distance from the projector’s lens to the screen, the picture size as a diagonal, and the lens setting from no zoom to full zoom. With nothing locked, moving the distance or the size keeps the zoom where it is and the other follows, as a projector does when you move it without touching the lens.
- Lock the distance (the projector is in place) and the picture size slides between the smallest and largest it can make there; lock the picture size (the screen is in place) and the distance slides between the nearest and farthest the projector can go. The zoom slider moves whichever one is free.
- Majestic sizes: pick one from the list, or drag to any size. The words under the drawing give the distances that suit the picture, and the Majestic screens that fit at the distance you have. 16:9 (1.78:1) is the normal HD shape; 21:9 Cinemascope (2.37:1) is the wide shape most Majestic screens are made in, and 2.35:1 or 2.40:1 can be made on request.
- The drawings: the front view shows your screen at that size and, with dashed lines, how far the lens can sit from the centre of the picture thanks to the lens shift, without tilting the projector; the side view shows the throw distance. Tick Ceiling mounted to see it hung from the ceiling; table or ceiling makes no difference to the picture.
- Brightness is worked out from the maker’s rated lumens, the picture area and the fabric’s gain (Evo Ultra 4K White 1.26, Evo Grey 0.9, Acoustic Vision 1.16, Dayfire 0.8). The rating is the projector’s brightest mode, so a calibrated cinema mode is dimmer: treat the figure as the top end. Around 14 to 16 foot-lamberts is the cinema reference for a dark room; a room with some light wants 22 or more.
- Measure from the front of the lens. The maker’s figures carry a little tolerance, so leave some room to move, and check the manual before you build anything in. On a Cinemascope screen the 16:9 picture is zoomed to the screen’s width; its extra height falls on the masking.
